Throughout the year, we run a Discover English Study Group every Wednesday night. Our group focuses on conversational English. It is a multicultural group and we have had visitors from many countries including Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Chile, Italy, Brazil, France, Finland, Switzerland, Germany, Iraq, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and more. You will be able to meet and make many friends from different parts of the world.
During each study, we will break into small groups. First, you will be introduced to a number of key words related to a short reading. This will help build up your English vocabulary. Second, we will read a short passage. Third, we will then practise writing skills using the vocabulary in the passage. After the discussion, we will share about our life and needs in Perth. This allows us to encourage and support one another.
We usually have dinner together at 6 pm and the study starts at 7 pm. If you can, give $2 to contribute to the cost of the dinner. Otherwise, do not worry and just enjoy the dinner with us.
We usually finish at around 8.15 pm. If you are worried about transport and safety issues, we can always drive you home.

Later in the week, on most Saturdays, we take people out for a bike ride or to some beautiful places in Perth. Come join us!
